Fall Sweater Tag

I have so much time to myself tonight!  The girls went to bed, as usual, at 7.  I watched the Big Brother Finale (laaaaame), replied to FIVE emails, texted people bag, had a good FB messenger chat session with our Gracie, and now I’m going to do this fun tag!

Note:  I wrote that top part and wouldn’t you know it, the babies woke up before I could actually write my answers!

Favorite Candle Scent?

Apple anything!  Though, I am one of those people enjoying a Scentsy over candles these days.

Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?

I’m not much of a fan of any of these… if I HAD to pick, maybe just regular ole Orange Pekoe tea.

What’s the best fall memory you have?

My BFF and I had raked up a pretty good pile of leaves for a neighbour… I convinced her to let me cover her and my brother with the leaves so she could kiss him.  We were sure we’d be sisters after.

Note:  After I wrote that up, I realized my answer should have been “My wedding” lol

Which make-up trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?

Winged eyeliner, even though I don’t have much time to do this.

Best fragrance for fall?

No clue.  Perfumes tend to give me headaches.

Favorite Thanksgiving Food

Turkey cutlets!  oh…. maybe stuffing, actually.

What is autumn weather like where you live?

COPIED:  Well, it varies. Right now, we are experiencing cool mornings and then it gets hot for the rest of the day. It makes it almost impossible to plan outfits. Then after that, the weather cools off, we get a few weeks of Autumn and then in comes Winter. However, the short period of time where the leaves are changing are so gorgeous!

Most worn sweater?

I have a navy blue cable knit sweater I wear over most of my tops from Fall until the end of Winter.

Football games or jumping in leaf piles?

Leaves, I guess.  I haven’t had to rake in a long time though…

Favorite type of pie?

Apple, no doubt.

What song really gets you into the fall spirit?

Is there a fall themed song?

Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?

No.

Favorite Fall TV Show

I don’t have cable… but I guess Survivor?  We download…

Skinny jeans or leggings?

Totally leggings, but not printed leggings.

Combat boots or Uggs?

….. do I have to pick?  Uggs, I guess.  Combat boots make me think of the 90s for some reason.

Halloween- Yay or Nay?

Not so much.  However, now that we have the girls it seems a little more fun!  I still won’t be dressing up though, lol.

Fall mornings or evenings?

Definitely evenings.  Although, I’ve been up as the sun is rising these days and it’s so pretty.

What do you think about Black Friday?

Not really a thing here in Canada.  I don’t know any deal worth getting trampled on, though.

One Fall 2015 trend you love?

Dark hair and dark nails.

  1. It’s funny reading this because Fall isn’t a big thing in Australia, also we are currently in Spring so for a second there I was wondering why the questions were so fall-centric 🙂
I don’t know that I have a fave candle scent, apple does sound good though, maybe with a bit of cinnamon. Although then I would want apple pie every time I lit it 🙂 hahaha
I do LOVE Orange Pekoe tea 🙂 I will also drink other kinds of black tea as well as coffee 🙂 Guess I am not that picky with hot beverages. I did recently taste freshly made Belgium Hot Chocolate and it was AMAZING!
I would never have thought that fall would have a song. If we were talking Halloween specifically though for me personally anything off the Hocus Pocus Soundtrack (particularly ‘I put a Spell on you’) would work 🙂

    1. Why did I think you were in England?!

I guess fall gets attention here in Canada, eh, because of the changing leaves, thanksgiving, and we get an extra hour of sleep. I like it cause it’s starting to get colder!

I’ve never seen hocus pocus… My fav Halloween movie is The Rocky Horror Picture Show!

      Ps- I emailed you 🙂

      1. Haha I have no idea 🙂
I love the leaf colours in fall in Australia too, not as startling as what I believe you guys have, but beautiful none the less 🙂
I think maybe you had to grow up with Hocus Pocus to appreciate it now, but maybe not, you could always give it a go. Rocky Horror is a good choice too.
Sorry I missed your email, thanks so much, I have replied 😀

      1. It was pretty amazing, they were continuously stirring it in this big vat so that none of the chocolate sunk to the bottom or separated 🙂 It was at an artisan market, there was some fantastic stuff there.
